All male citizens in Republic of China have the obligation to fulfill the mandatory military service, 19-year-old conscripts (even when drafted in advance at the age of 18) shall be conscripted by means of 4 procedures: investigation, conscription physical examination, lot drawing, and induction.
Citizens who were born in 2002 shall contact the district office where the domicile place is registered to conduct the military serviceman status review by walk-in, mail, fax or email before the end of February, 2021. This purpose is to understand the conscripts’ educational background, and whether to continue the study or plan to first complete their military service. Please first apply investigation, conscription physical examination, lot drawing, and induction to benefit the career planning.
