Government public service military unit "substitute military" made an announcement on March 1st
¡@¡@Government public service military unit "substitute military" is announced on March 1st (military festival) that they are accepting application of substitute draftees from April 3rd 2006.
¡@¡@Conscription Agency, the Ministry of the Interior indicated that the year 2006 "government public service military" - "substitute service" is accepting application from April 3rd until April 17th. All male citizens born before (include) Year 1987 and who has not received recruiting order and conform with the application conditions is able to apply according to his aspiration. As a diverse and internationalize country, this year we continue to accept graduated student who study abroad and still yet returned to serve compulsory military, to promote a national English language learning environment.
¡@¡@For those who qualified applying through special skill should visit Conscription Agency website¡]http://www.nca.gov.tw¡^look in "Substitute military application information system" in advance, login and enter personal information as well as enter a chosen servicing category and serving institute. Go to a public census register center to verify your application and all related document certificates, also conduct a "request for substitute service temporary postponing recruit", draftees should mail his verified application to the Conscription office at to complete the application process. Draftees who held foreign educational diploma and have not conscript should verify educational diploma at a consul office abroad and send the application to (No. 21 KuanMing Road, ChungHsing Village, NanTou Hsien, Taiwan R.O.C.) Those who has already enter the country should go to a public census register center conduct "request for substitute service temporary postponing recruit".
¡@¡@To benefit draftee's career planning, from Year 2006 the substitute service application tasks has adopted "one time application, two entering camp periods" processing, promptly combine substitute military echelon drafting schedule to separate the bottom of year 2006 (July to December) from top of year 2007 (January to June) two periods of designated applications, and depend on the draftee¡¦s will and application plan, choose and apply for a servicing institution, at the same time obtain qualification lot number, draftee will be draft according to the echelon lot number.
